Hello!
What a pleasure, when, from
the deep of myself I give rise to a doll.
One of them comes
from a book or a movie, another an historical
inspiration and a last
one from my imagination. All my dolls are realized with great fineness
in the work and the accuracy of details.
I love to realize each doll with respect of the history
of each one, and use only high quality materials in
relation to the original materials
One of
the
great momment in my creation, is to give them a real life and spirit. My process
consist in
erasing the industrial make up of this trademark dolls, repaint a new face and
I add eyelashes, to make it as ''human'' as possible. Then I modify
hairstyle and that's how the relooking begins…
All the
clothes are exclusively made for the doll, such as
the dress, the gloves,
the underwear, the
shoes... etc
When she is ready with the new outfit of clothes and her head, I make a
jewel meticulously realized in crystal.
After that, we realize a large amount of
pictures, and we choose the best ones. Here, the doll is -almost- alive as
Marie-Antoinette, the Empress Sissi, a Sioux princess, and so
many more…
For everybody who, like me, loves....... beauty.
Text writes by my
sister Isabelle, and who puts well in words what I am incapable to write!

Hello!
I am
Corinne, I am 45. I'm married and I stopped working as a nurse for a while so as to take
care of my three children.
Ive gradually
found some free time to dedicate myself to one of my passions which are
dolls, sewing, painting, manual work, and search on old costumes :
the Artist fashion dolls.
I've really begun with
dolls in summer 1999, supported by my family(first supporters!), friends and neighbours,
and also thanks to the WEB where one can see so many beautiful things which helps to
improve.
I learn how to sew with my
grandmoher who is a needle-woman during my summer holidays I spent with her when I was a
small girl and teenager, and even still now(thank you grandma Lulu!); and also with my
mum's sewing machine(thank you Mum!).
I started to makes clothes
for me, for my children, & also for my daughter's dolls; and finally for my dolls!
|
I started with one or two samples of existing doll
clothes; then I felt able to create my own models, and I'm rather proud of it.
I remove all
the face paint and repaint it, I add eyelashes.
I redesign the hairstyle and make an unique dress for the doll. These clothes arent
removable.

Many thanks to my husband Michel
for his support, his assistance for the creation and the maintenance of this
